Statement of Faith
I believe in God the Father, Creator of all things; in Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Redeemer, and in the Holy Spirit, our Comforter. (Ref. Mk 1: 10-11; Jn 14: 15-16; Jn 14: 26; Jn 17: 5; Eph 4: 6; 1 Cor 8: 6)
I believe in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ, the true Son of God; His Virgin Birth; His sinless Life; His true Humanity; His Death on the Cross for our Sins; His Supernatural Resurrection; and, His Second Coming. I believe in the hope of eternal life through Christ. (Ref. Mt 1: 20-23; Jn 1: 14; Jn 17: 3; Heb 2: 14-15)
I believe the Holy Spirit dwells in every Christian and gives us the Power to live a Godly life. (Ref. Jn 3: 6; Jn 16: 7; Eph 1: 13-14; Phil 1: 6)
I believe in the Bible, which is the inspired Word of God; and is authoritative for faith and practice. (Ref. Jer 23: 28; Mal 2: 7-8; Acts 17: 11; 2 Tim 3: 6-7; 1 Jn 2: 12-14; Rev 22: 18-19)
I believe we are saved by faith alone, not by Works; however, we are saved to do Good Works that God has already laid out for us to do. (Ref. Rom 4: 5; Eph 2: 8-10; 1 Tim 2: 4)
I believe in the Spiritual Unity of all Believers in Jesus Christ, and the importance of Church for fellowship and teaching. (Ref. Heb 10: 25; 1 Jn 1: 3-4)
Through witnessing communities, we:
Develop Faithful Witness: To witness to the Lord Jesus Christ as God incarnate and to seek to lead others to a personal faith in Him.
Cultivate Spiritual Growth: To deepen and strengthen the spiritual life and gifts of followers by the study of the Bible, fellowship, prayer, and worship.
Demonstrate Christian Love: To encourage Christians empowered by the Holy Spirit to love our neighbours as ourselves.
Seek All Truth in Jesus Christ: To assist Christians to explore and assert the relevance of the Christian faith to every aspect of private life and public concern.
Shape Servant Leaders: To develop godly women and men to serve as leaders in God’s work in the world.
Grow a Missional Commitment: To affirm God’s call that all Christians are called to serve Him through their lives and work and to participate in the global mission of the church by praying, giving, and serving.
